Adults, Children, Families + Groups
I offer 50-minute psychotherapy sessions for individual adults. Individual therapy offers a unique haven for one to feel fully seen and heard. In my practice, we will explore your personal needs and challenges with the goal of maintaining wellness, empowerment, and transformation through self-awareness. In the process of building a trusted relationship, we will uncover core issues that may have lead to personal blockages.
Child and Adolescent Psychotherapy
I offer 50-minute psychotherapy sessions for individual child and teen clients. The emphasis of child and adolescent work is to work on attachment issues, behavioral issues, depression, anxiety, processing loss, parental divorce, socialization issues, life transitions and academic/school related problems. Therapy with children is conducted through play and art therapy and with Adolescents is conducted primarily through talk therapy.
I offer 50-minute to 90-minute Family Therapy Sessions. The emphasis in family work is to work on communication within the family. Family therapy seeks to reduce distress and conflict by improving the systems of interactions between family members. Family therapy can help sort out family medical issues, family addiction, family mental health issues, parenting, blended families, life transitions, dealing with addiction of a loved one, births, deaths, crisis, aging, caregiving, roles and responsibilities, and grief.
I offer 90-minute clay and art therapy based process groups on a weekly basis for a 2 month period. Clay and art based process groups allow participants to be creative and exercise expressive capabilities while giving one space and time to process big themes in life. In clay and art based process groups we will make art, learn various art based techniques, examine our art and respond to others' art within a nurturing and supportive environment. Groups of six are encouraged.
